The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) was set up in the year 1973. Initially the board conducted series of workshops, seminars, training, study tour etc. But later the NBSE board conducted many other training programs, workshops which did not have any limitation in the field of education. The board concentrated on many issues and framed many rules and policies which gave path to many solutions to the problems faced by the schools and colleges.
The HSSLC NBSE exams are conducted for the 12th class students in the month of March 2018 and the results are declared in the month of May or June 2018 The evaluation is centralised and the results are declared through gazette, print media and internet.
